The Institute receives specialists from several countries. More than 2500 ENT doctors from all over the world assisted to the teaching program.95 Otological Microsurgical courses and 32 Microscopic and Endoscopic sinus surgery courses have been held by the Institute.The Staff participated to more than 1500 National and International events.Deaf patients operated are more than 40000.Several papers and books have been published in National and International magazines.
The García-Ibáñez Foundation of Otology (FOGI) attends deaf children coming from undeveloped Countries. These are patients who need Cochlear Implants but are low in financial resources.More than 100 children from several countries have been implanted under the auspices of the our foundation. Member of most of the ENT societies of the world: SEORL, American Academy of otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, EAONO, Politzer, etc.Presidential Citation of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.Honoured Award of the University of Ferrara (ITALY)Certification of Honour of the ENT American Academy.
